Tomasz Makowski

Polish librarian and historian, director of the National Library (since 2007), chairman of the National Library Council and the Council for National Library Resources under the Minister of Culture and National Heritage. His professional interests revolve around the history of libraries, manuscript studies, as well as auxiliary sciences of history and the history of historiography.
