Tomasz Pindel

Tomasz Pindel is a translator, literary critic, lecturer and expert on Spanish-language literature.He has published a practical guide to magical realism, a biography of Mario Vargas Llosa, and stories about Poles in Latin America and about fandom.He was awarded by the Cervantes Institute in Poland for best translation of a Spanish-language novel in 2007, for Jaime Bayly’s “The Night is Virgin”.He has also translated works by Robert Bolaño, Jorge Franco, Felisbert Hernández, Virgilio Piñera, Javier Marías, Óscar Marías, Óscar Martínez and Eduarda Halfon and several books by Claudia Piñeiro.
