Sometimes an unexpected change is triggered by something seemingly insignificant – as small as a hare that appeared in the author’s life just as the world froze during lockdown. That chance encounter became an impulse to shift her perspective on the surrounding reality. The story of this uneasy relationship invites reflection on our often clumsy connections with nature and on how to respect both our own freedom and that of others.
