Krakow - UNESCO City of Literature and De Revolutionibus Books would like to invite you to an evening of performative reading of prose fragments created during the Novel Writing Course of Krakow - UNESCO City of Literature 2024/2025. The event will take place on 25 October at 7:00 p.m.
The headline of the last edition of the KMLU Novel Writing Course was Fictions. Styles and narratives. During the nine-month course, participants faced the challenge of creating their own texts under the guidance of excellent editors Filip Modrzejewski and Marta Syrwid. During weekend meetings at Potocki Palace, the seat of Kraków UNESCO City of Literature, fresh, intriguing and simply good texts were created and matured.
From the literary excerpts produced during the course, we created an anthology that was sent to leading publishers in the country with recommendations for the most promising graduates.
Among the course's graduates and alumni are authors of award-winning debuts, including Olga Górska, Elżbieta Łapczyńska, Barbara Woźniak and Marta Hermanowicz.
Now it will be possible to listen to the sound of the new texts in the intimate setting of De Revolutionibus Books. Join us to meet the authors who are about to make a name for themselves!
