Refugee Animals. A meeting with Darek Gzyra
Refugee Animals. A meeting with Darek Gzyra
A meeting with Darek Gzyra
Host: Beata Prokopczuk-Daab
The refugee crisis affects not only humans, but also animals. It is clear that they too are victims of wars, climate crises and other disasters that affect local and global ecosystems. In the near future, this migration of non-human beings will, unfortunately, become more and more intense. Philosopher and activist Darek Gzyra documents refugee phenomena among animals, studies their causes, and works to help and protect all beings that inhabit the Earth alongside ourselves. During the Conrad Festival, we will talk about the impact of the war in Ukraine on animals, the social and political changes required to protect non-human beings, and the functioning of the world without a hierarchy between different beings.
Free tickets will be available for download from October 16, 2023 on the KBF:BILETY and KBF: PLUS application.
