Towards the flow. A walk around the Borek Fałęcki tram and bus terminus

The Borek Fałęcki bus and tram terminus is the southern gateway to the city, a flow hub. It is a place located on an exit road, the so-called Zakopianka, surrounded by small stores, with a market rhythm and its daily surges. A former village of craftspeople with an industrial and working-class past of mining sodium deposits. This space is created each morning with the hope of surviving or conquering a new day. Situated at the foot of the mountain, it is an organism reinvigorated with the vitality of thousands of passing people that is governed by the laws of capitalism, but at the same time escapes them. The numerous shopping centres, the religious infrastructure, the remnants of ancient oak trees and, above all, the radical power of everyday life all combine to create a place worth experiencing.
