Jakub Żulczyk

Writer, screenwriter, journalist. He graduated in journalism and American studies at the Jagiellonian University. He has worked for many titles: Lampa, Machina, Exklusiv, Dziennik, Tygodnik Powszechny, Neo Plus, Metropol or Playboy. He had his own column ‘Tydzień Kultury Polskiej’ [‘Week of Polish Culture’] in Wprost. Co-host of Redakcja Kultury on TVP2. Winner of the Capital City of Warsaw Literary Award 2018. In 2014, he was nominated for the Polityka’s Passport award. Author of novels: Zrób mi jakąś krzywdę…, czyli wszystkie gry video są o miłości [Do Me Some Harm... All Video Games Are About Love] (2006), Radio Armageddon (2008), Instytut [Institute] (2010), Ślepnąc od świateł [Blinded by the Lights] (2014, an eponymous series was made by HBO in 2018), Wzgórze psów [Hill of the Dogs] (2017), Informacja zwrotna [Feedback] (2021).
