Łukasz Musiał

(born in 1976) – expert in German studies, translator and essayist, employee of the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań. He translated a number of works into Polish, including works by authors such as Ernst Jünger, Karl Schlögel and Henning Lobin. Author of three books of essays: Kafka – w poszukiwaniu utraconej rzeczywistości (Wrocław, 2011), Do czego używa się literatury (Kraków 2016) and O bólu. Pięć rozważań w poszukiwaniu autora (Poznań 2016), for which he has been nominated for the Gdynia Literary Award in 2017. He also prepared a volume of works by Franz Kafka for the Biblioteka Narodowa series, published by the Ossoliński National Institute (in print).
