Tomasz Pindel

(born in 1976) – Hispanic Studies scholar, translator of Spanish literature, literary scholar, former lecturer of the Jagiellonian University and employee of the Book Institute, where he was involved in the promotion of Polish literature abroad. He has translated more than 50 books into Polish (by authors such as Roberto Bolaño, Javier Marias and Virgilio Pińera). He received an award of the Polish branch of the Cervantes Institute for a literary translation of Za horyzont. Polaków latynoamerykańskie przygody (2018). Together with Szymon Kloska, he hosts the Piątka z literatury broadcast at RMF Classic Radio.
