22 October 2012 The Conrad Festival is the Talk of the Day
The Conrad Festival will be the focus of today’s edition of Tematy Dnia on TVP Kraków. The following persons will discuss this year’s edition of the festival: Robert Piaskowski – Deputy Programme Director of the Krakow Festival Office, coordinator of the project and Professor Michał Paweł Markowski – Artistic Director of the Conrad Festival. The programme will be aired right after Kronika on TVP Kraków, at 6:50 p.m.
We wish to remind you that this year's edition of the Conrad Festival – one of the major literary events in the world – started today and will last a week (until Sunday, the 28th of October).<0} The motto of this year’s edition is: Think: Literature! Some of the most outstanding Polish and foreign writers, including: Zygmunt Bauman, Orhan Pamuk, Jeanette Winterson, Krzysztof Wodiczko, Peter Eszterhazy, Robert D. Kaplan, Dubravka Ugrešić, Eustachy Rylski, Krzysztof Varga, Andrzej Stasiuk, Dorota Masłowska, Wojciech Jagielski, Magdalena Tulli, Michał Witkowski and Marek Bieńczyk have confirmed their participation in the Krakow festival.
