14 November 2012 Oksana Zabużko in an interview with the Xiegarnia.pl portal

Oksana Zabużko, the most important contemporary Ukrainian writer, talks to the journalists of the Xiegarnia.pl portal about the broken historical memory, the artificial division of Ukraine into the East and the West, the great hunger, the spirit of freedom still present in the hearts of the Ukrainians that helped the enslaved nation survive the last 200 years, as well as what her fellow countrymen do not like to talk about out loud. The interview was conducted during this year’s edition of the Conrad Festival.
