Adam Kaczanowski
(born 1976) –rather a writer, but also a little bit of a performer. He performed as a Monkey-Man, Thumbelina and a clown. He was honoured with the Silesius Wrocław Poetry Award and nominated for the Gdynia Literary Award for his books Cele [Cells] and has been nominated for the Wisława Szymborska Award for Zabawne i zbawienne [Funny and Beneficial] this year. Author of eleven poetry books, four novels and a collection of short stories. Born in Poznań, he currently lives in Warsaw.
