Adi Cesare
He began his musical career as the lead singer in the band "Tel Aviv's Youth" and the Air Force Band before heading in a classical direction. Adi majored in opera at the Music Academy at Tel Aviv University, graduating with honors, and studied to become an Artist at the Academy of Music in Jerusalem. He graduated acting schools at Hillel Ne'eman and Ruth Dytches. Adi won a Sharet Scholarship from the America-Israel Cultural Foundation in 1996 and 1998. He performed with the best orchestras in Israel as a tenor soloist including Bernstein's West Side Story with the Israeli Philharmonic Orchestra, Bach's Magnificat with Beer Sheva's Sinfonietta, Mozart's Requiem with Raanana's Symphonette Orchestra, and other ensembles. Adi is also known from theater stage performances in which he sang and acted, the last one being The King and the Cobbler (Shlomo Hameleh and Shalmai Hasandlar) at the Habima theater. In 2007 Adi released his first single to the radio. Lately he sings in the successful series of performances Shlomit and the 3 Tenors with Shlomit Aharon. Adi is currently working on producing his first album with songs he wrote, both lyrics and music.Picture: Ilan Basor
