Alfian Sa’at

playwright working on a permanent basis with the theatre group W!LD RICE. His plays have been translated into German, Swedish and Danish. They have been staged in Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, London, Berlin, Hamburg, Zurich, Munich, Copenhagen and Stockholm. He has been nominated seven times for Life! magazine’s theatre award for best play and has won the top prize twice. Winner of the first prize in the Poetry category of the SPH-NAC Golden Point competition and Singapore’s prestigious Young Artist Award 2001 in the Literature category.
