Anna Goc

(born in 1987) – journalist, reporter and editor at Tygodnik Powszechny. Linguist and PhD student at the Faculty of Polish Studies at the Jagiellonian University. She also works with the Institute of Journalism, Media and Social Communication of the Jagiellonian University. Until 2012, she was associated with Gazeta Wyborcza in Krakow. Winner of journalistic awards, among others the 6th edition of the Ryszard Kapuściński Scholarship Competition (2017) and the Małopolska Journalists’ Award for News (2011), Press reportage (2016, 2017, 2018) and the Grand Prix of the Małopolska Journalists’ Award (2018). She was nominated for the 11th edition of the Andrzej Woyciechowski Radio ZET Award (2015), the 20th Tadeusz Mazowiecki Polish-German Journalism Award (2017) and the Grand Press Award for Press Report. (2017).
