David Damrosch

An American comparatist, Professor of Weltliteratur. His research interests range from ancient history to the contemporary era. Currently, the Chair of the Department of Comparative Literature at Harvard University. The former Chair of the American Comparative Literature Association. Author of numerous publications in comparative literature, in his research books created a special language of academic narration, combining, like in his Meetings of the Mind, some elements of novel with the Dialogues of Plato.
