
Doris Mironescu

(born in 1979) – literature expert, associate professor at the University of Iași, Romania. He specialized in the Jewish-Romanian interwar novelist Max Blecher (1909-1938). His book Life of M. Blecher. Against Biography (2011; 2018) won, among others, a Romanian Academy award for literary criticism. Editor of M. Blecherʼs Complete Works (2017) in Romanian and co-editor of Max Blecherʼs Aventures dans lʼirréalité immédiate (2015) in French. He also wrote a book (A Century of Memory, 2016)and a large number of articles on biography and cultural memory, on nationalism and collective identity, on exile and space in literature. Co-organizer of the „Blecher Fest” literature festival in Roman, Romania.
