Dr Kinga Białek
a Polish and Hebrew Studies scholar, working in schools since 2007. Since 2015, she has been working at the PAFF and UW School of Education as a Polish literature and language teacher, as well as a tutor. Since 2019, she has been one of the leaders of the Critical Reading with the School of Education project, which supports reading work in schools. Working with the Educational Research Institute and the Central Examination Commission, she had the opportunity to participate in the work of various research teams, dealing with international (PISA and PIRLS) and national surveys, including the Diagnosis of competencies of third graders and the School of Independent Thought. She is interested in everything related to modern, effective and valuable Polish language teaching. She is also involved in projects related to improving the quality of teacher education. She has worked with the Centre for Education Development and the Mazovian Local Government Centre for Teacher Training.
