
Dubi Lenz

Israeli radio journalist, publisher, presenter and expert in world music. He headed the music department of the Galei Zahal radio station for 15 years and edited and presented HaKol Zorem (Everything Flows), a popular radio show, for over thirty years. Artistic director of the Hearing the World – Tel Aviv World Music Festival, member of the Israeli Ministry of Culture and chairman of many musical events, such as the International Music Exposure, Givatayim Jazz Festival, Brazilian Choro Year and the immensely successful 2006 La Fete de la Musique festival, for which he received the Art and Literature Order from the French government. Also an academic teacher, educationalist, television journalist and co-author of the Rough Guide to World Music in which he produced the chapter on Israeli music. His management skills, education, ability to support and create culture, as well as deep understanding of world music enabled him to become a person recognised not only in Israel.
