writer. Graduate of Polish studies at the University of Warsaw. She worked as a journalist for Reuters and Gazeta Wyborcza. A columnist for Polityka, she also publishes in Wysokie Obcasy, Wysokie Obcasy Extra, Magazyn Literacki, Newsweek, Elle, and Trendy. Author of several novels, including: Nielegalne związki (Illegal Liaisons, 2010), Dziewczyny z Portofino (Girls from Portofino, 2005), Pudełko z szpilkami(A Box with Pins, 2002), Przystupa (2007), Bokserka (Boxer Girl, 2014), Pani Furia (Lady Fury, 2016), the essay Córki rozbójniczki (The Highway woman’s Daughters, 2013), the collection of columns Słowa na szczęście i inne nienazwane stany duszy (Words Bringing Luck and Other Unnamed States of the Soul, 2019), as well as a subjective guide to the city where she has lived for years: Bruksela.
