Hugh Howey

American science fiction writer, author of a bestselling series of novels, Silos. Its plot develops in the post-Apocalyptic reality, in which people are forced to live in huge silos cities dug deep under the earth. Before starting his career as a writer, he worked as a yacht captain, roofer and sound engineer. He published the first part of his series on his own, using Amazon’s Kindle Direct Publishing platform. In Poland it was published in 2013 (translated by Marcin Kiszel) – two following parts saw print in 2014 and 2015.
