Jakobe Mansztajn

Born in 1982, poet and blogger. Author of the book Wiedeński high life [Vienna high life] (2009), for which he received the Silesius Wrocław Poetry Award and a nomination for Gdynia Literary Award. His works have been translated into, among others: German, Belarusian, English and Norwegian. He has never been a member of any poetry group. He regrets that a little bit. He specialises in biographical entries. He lives in Gdańsk. In early 2014, his next book will be published by WBPiCAK, a Poznań-based publishing house. On 27th October Jakobe Mansztajn will take part in a movie screenings and a discussion with the participation of Axel Krüger, Matthias Fritsch, Juliane Henrich, Tomasz Różycki and Agnieszka Wolny-Hamkało.
