Jakub Małecki

(born 1982 in Koło) – writer, author of Dygot, Rdza, Nikt nie idzie and Ślady, nominated for the Nike Literary Award. He was also nominated for the Angelus Central European Literary Award and the Stanisław Barańczak Award. In 2017, he was awarded the “Young Poland” scholarship by the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage. His books are currently translated into German, Russian, Dutch, Slovenian, Finnish and Hebrew.
