Jarosław Lipszyc

Polish poet, journalist and publicist. President of the Nowoczesna Polska (Modern Poland) Foundation. Before his work in the Foundation, he was a journalist, poet and musician for many years; currently he is an active promoter of modern education and free culture. He makes substantive contributions to all projects of the Foundation, conducts training courses for teachers and delivers numerous speeches and lectures on modern technologies, education and the Internet law. He was an active participant of the social campaign for the carrying-out of environmental consultations concerning the introduction of the Register of Prohibited Websites and Services. Author of poetry books bólion w kostce (bouillon cube), poczytalnia (reading space) and Mnemotechniki (Mnemotechniques). Leader and author of lyrics of the former Usta band. Chairman of the Board of the Open Education Coalition, member of the programming board of Start-Media in Warsaw, member of the Polska Szkoła (Polish School) team of the Ministry of National Education, founder-member of the Stanisław Brzozowski Association, member of the supervisory board of Internet Society Poland.
