He has worked as radio and television journalist, he directed the programme Czytelnia (Reading Room) in the TVP Kultura channel, he has also been the editor-in-chief of the Nowy Wiek magazine. He published a few collections of poems and short stories: Trzy historye (Three Tales) (2001), Szmermele (2004), Algi, kalki, zębatki (2004); essays and novels: Przymierzalnia (Fitting Room) (2008), Nieludzka komedia (Unhuman Comedy) (2009), Da capo (2010) and NN (2012). His works have been translated into Italian, French, German, English, Slovene, Slovak and other languages. He cooperates with the magazines Tygodnik Powszechny, Twórczość and HA!art. Connected with the Jagiellonian University, where he gives classes in contemporary literature, creative writing and the culture of the 20th century.
