Joanna Kornaś

Translator, teacher of Romanian. Her translations include books by Mircea Cărtărescu and Dan Lungu, works of Romanian dramatists and many excerpts of prose and poetry published in Lampa, Literatura na Świecie and other literary magazines. In 2013, the publishing house Pogranicze printed Max Blecher’s Zdarzenia w bliskiej nierzeczywistości (orig.: Întâmplări în irealitate imediată; English edition: Adventures in Immediate Unreality) and Ioan Es. Pop’s collection of poems entitled Ieud bez wyjścia i inne wiersze (orig.: Ieudul fără ieşire şi alte poeme) in her translation.
