
Kerstin Decker

(born 1962) – German writer, reporter, columnist and critic. She studied journalism at the University of Leipzig and later philosophy at the Humboldt University in Berlin. She is the author of the biography Lou Andreas-Salomé. Der bittersüsse Funke Ich (The Bittersweet Spark I). She is a contributor of dailies Der Tagesspiegel and Die Tageszeitung. In addition to the biography of Lou Andreas-Salomé, she wrote books devoted to Paula Moderson-Becker, Elsa Lasker-Schüller, Richard Wagner and Heinrich Heine, among many others.
