Krzysztof Mieszkowski
Journalist and theatre critic. Born in 1956 in Wrocław. In 1991 he became the founder and editor-in-chief of Notatnik Teatralny, a quarterly on contemporary theatre. For almost a year he was a literary director of the Polski Theatre in Wrocław (1993–1994). He cooperated with the Polish Television: he was part of the programme council of the TV theatre, made Magazyn teatralny programme for Channel 2, and co-created the thematic channel TVP Kultura as the host of a day of theatre. He was a programme director in the Polish Radio Wrocław. A juror of the most important theatre festivals in Poland, among them being: Without Borders International Theatre Festival in Cieszyn, Opole Theatre Confrontations “Polish Classics”, International Premiere Festival in Bydgoszcz, Kaliskie Theatre Meetings – Festival of the Art of Acting or Festival of Drama Schools in Łódź.
