Krzysztof Środa
(born 1959) writer and translator, historian of philosophy. Worked at the Institute of Philosophy and Sociology of the Polish Academy of Sciences, defended his doctoral dissertation on the phenomenology of Edmund Husserl and translated several books. Winner of the Gdynia Literary Award in the essayist category and finalist of the Nike Literary Award. Author of books Niejasna sytuacja na kontynencie (2003), Projekt handlu kabardyńskimi końmi (2006), Podróż do Armenii i innych krajów (2012), Las nie uprzedza (2016) and Srebro ryb (2019).
