Leszek Libera

literary scholar and prose writer. He worked at the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań; currently, he is a professor at the Institute of Polish Philology in Zielona Góra. Scholar of Mickiewicz and Słowacki, his academic work concerns Polish Romanticism and Symbolism. He published two novels in German: Buks Molenda and Der Utopek, with the Polish translation of the latter being published in 2019 by the Od Do publishing house. He lives in Essen.
