Maaret Koskinen

(born in 1951) – Swedish film scientist, professor at the University of Stockholm. Outstanding expert in the works of Ingmar Bergman. She was the first scientist to be granted access to his archive (while the artist was still alive). She also organised the first international scientific symposium on his work. She has been a member of many Swedish institutions associated with film and television (she was a member of the board of the Swedish Film Academy twice). She has also published many publications, a large part of which was devoted to the work of Bergman.
