Małgorzata Nocuń

Journalist of “Tygodnik Powszechny”, from 2004 to 2006 its correspondent in Ukraine and Belarus, editor of the “Nowa Europa Wschodnia” magazine. Author of the book Wczesne życie (Early Life) and co-author, together with Andrzej Brzeziecki, of the books: Białoruś. Kartofle i dżinsy (Belarus. Potatoes and jeans), Ograbiony naród. Rozmowy z intelektualistami białoruskimi (Robbed Nation. Conversations with Belarusian Intellectuals), and Armenia. Karawana śmierci (Armenia. Caravan of Death). In 2014, she was honoured in Amnesty International’s Pen of Hope competition for her reportage from the North Caucasus. In 2019, a collection of reports on Belarus, entitled Ojczyzna dobrej jakości (Fatherland of Good Quality), was published under her editorship.
