Romance Studies scholar, translator, publisher. Editor-in-chief of Karakter publishing house, which she co-founded. She has collaborated with the Ethnographic Museum in Kraków, and her texts were published in the Znak monthly, Książki. Magazyn do Czytania and Tygodnik Powszechny. Winner of the Literatura na Świecie Award for her translation debut and the Grand Editor Prize. Laureate of the French Ordre des Arts et des Lettres for promoting Francophone literature in Poland
