Marta Eloy Cichocka

(born 1973) – Hispanic Studies scholar, literary scholar, translator of literature, poet and photographer. Translator of works by Calderón, Racine, Juarroz and Gelman, habilitated literary researcher, expert on Hispanic Studies and a Francophile. She is a laureate of a scholarship of Michel d’Ornano Foundation (1993–1998), winner of the first prize in the Halina Poświatowska poetry competition (2004), holder of the scholarship of the Minister of Culture and National Heritage in the field of literature (2007), and laureate of the I Beca-Residencia Internacional SxS Antonio Machado (2016).

The list of her works includes Wejście ewakuacyjne (2003), Lego dla ego (2005), the bilingual Ślady opon na poduszce / Huellas de neumáticos en la almohada (2016), Engramy (2017) and REPUBLICA POETICA 1.0. 111 wierszy – an anthology of contemporary Spanish poetry (2015), as well as two books on the poetics of the contemporary historical novel, in French (2007) and Spanish (2016).
