Michał Kuźmiński

Writer, journalist, editor and culture animator. Deputy editor-in-chief of Tygodnik Powszechny weekly, manager of the Internet edition of Tygodnik, creator and long-time manager of the Science section, he also deals with social issues, the influence of technology on people and popular culture. In 2016, he was nominated for the Grand Press award in the category of specialist journalism, and received the Jerzy Zieliński Honorary Award of the Association of Polish Journalists for popularisation of science (2011). Author of the popular scientific book Nauka w kuchni. Przełomowe historie sztuki kulinarnej (2019). Scholarship holder of the Murrow Program for Journalists within the framework of the International Visitors Leadership Program organized by the U.S. Department of State (2012). He worked on changing the format and layout of Tygodnik as well as on a new website and digital editions of the magazine. Creator and leader of Podcast Powszechny. Together with Małgorzata Fugiel-Kuźmińska, co-author of mystery novels Sekret Kroke (2009), Klątwa Konstantyna (2011), Śleboda (2015), Pionek (2016) and Kamień (2017). Author of lyrics and song translations.
