Natalia Śniadanko

(b. 1973) – a Ukrainian writer, poet, journalist and translator. A scholar of the Homines Urbani program in the Villa Decius in Krakow (2006). In 2011, she received the Joseph Conrad Korzeniowski Literary Prize funded by the Polish Institute in Kyiv. She has published eight collections of prose and poems. She is also the author of many texts published in anthologies and numerous Ukrainian literary magazines. She is a translator from Polish, German and Russian. She translates works by Z. Herbert, C. Miłosz, J. Iwaszkiewicz, F. Kafka, G. Grass, H. Müller and F. Dürrenmatt into Ukrainian. Her novels Lovage in the AtticAhatanhel and A Collection of Passions have been translated into Polish.
