Piotr Nesterowicz

(born in 1971) – writer, editor, doctor of economic sciences, graduate of the Polish School of Reportage. Member of the Management Board of Netia SA from 2008 to 2011. He published his reports in Akcent, Duży Format, Twórczość and Tygodnik Powszechny, his short stories were also published in Nowa Fantastyka. In 2012, he published his first book of reports titled Ostatni obrońcy wiary, devoted to the multi-religious tradition of Podlasie and the Suwałki Region. In 2014, he published Cudowna, for which he was nominated for the 2015 Nike Literary Award, and was awarded the W. Kazanecki Literary Award by the Mayor of Białystok. In 2016, he published Każdy został człowiekiem, a story about migration from rural to urban areas in 1946-1960. In 2013, he published his fantasy novel Piesek.
