Weronika Gogola

prose writer and translator from Slovak and Ukrainian. She graduated in Ukrainian studies at the Jagiellonian University. She debuted with a collection of short stories Po trochu (Bit by bit, 2017), for which she received the Conrad Prize and was nominated for the Nike Literary Award. In 2021, she published a reportage book Ufo nad Bratysławą (Ufo over Bratislava).
