Zenon Fajfer

Poet, creator and theoretician of liberature (the essay Liberatura. Aneks do słownika terminów literackich /Liberature. Annex to the Dictionary of Literary Terms/, 1999), author of kinetic poems and poems-signs, theatre artist. Co-founder of the Liberature Reading Room in Krakow, editor of Ha!art’s editorial series of liberature. Co-author of the first liberature books (together with Katarzyna Bazarnik): Oka-leczenie (2000-2009) and (O)patrzenie (2003), author of the book-bottle Spoglądając przez ozonową dziurę (Looking Through the Ozone Hole) (2004). He has recently published a multimedia collection of poems ten letters and a collection of theoretical and programme texts Liberature Or Total Literature. Collected Essays 1999-2009 (2010), translated and edited by Katarzyna Bazarnik. He has worked out his own literary technique called the “emanation poem”. At the 2nd Conrad Festival, he will participate in the vernissage of the Liberatura exhibition in the Wyspiański Pavilion (Plac Wszystkich Świętych 2) on 2 November (Tuesday) at 6.30 pm. Among participants of the meeting there will also be Katarzyna Bazarnik and Jerzy Kutnik.
