
Judith Schalansky

Born in 1980 in Greifswald, she studied art history and visual communication design. Her works - including the international best-selling novel Atlas of Remote Islands, The Giraffe's Neck – a Bildungsroman, which will be published in Polish in spring 2024, and An Inventory of Losses – have been translated into more than 25 languages and brought her numerous awards. She is an editor of the book series Naturkunden and Wildes Wissen (Matthes & Seitz Berlin). She lives in Berlin and in the Uckermark area.
