Many authors dream of seeing their stories on the silver screen; however, only some live to see this happen. Why some books seem to enjoy film makers’ interest, and some do not? What does the collaboration between the author, scriptwriter and the film makers look like? How to transpose the language of literature into motion pictures? Does the author see their own work in the film based on it? We want to try and answer these and many other questions during a debate at the Kraków Book Fair organised as part of the Book Congress and the Conrad Festival.
