One of the highlights of last year's Book Fair was the signing of the Krakow Convention – the first document in Poland defining standards of cooperation between publishing houses and authors – by a group of publishers. The follow-up to this convention was the Publisher’s Seal of Quality, which was already present on the covers of books published in 2023. What obligations does the Krakow Convention impose on publishers? Why should one join the Convention and how?
