Is it easier to publish one’s first book or subsequent ones? Are awards and nominations helpful? Who decides what books are written and published? Do public institutions respond to the growing pains of creators, and if they do – are their responses justified? Join a debate on becoming a writer in Poland. Weronika Gogola, Elżbieta Łapczyńska – winners of the Conrad Award, the first Polish literary prize for a debut in prose – are going to try and answer these questions.
